Slate Monolith SM79 is an absolute beauty crammed full of character and ruggedness. At just under 1m tall, the subtle textures of real Welsh Slate are magnified on this beautiful Large ornament with every side covered in unique natural stone detailing. This has a very unusual, quirky sloping top with loads of crevasses, which all adds character to this incredible Welsh Slate garden water feature.

Large Stone Monoliths are becoming increasingly difficult to source, and Slate Monolith SM79 is an excellent example of an incredible garden obelisk to be included in a medium or large scale design. This imposing block of genuine Welsh Slate echoes the countries’ ancient forts such as Dolwyddelan Castle near Betws Y Coed and even further back to the neolithic standing stones at Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber in Pembrokeshire. This piece can be combined with our Large Reservoir Pack that includes a reservoir, hose, clip & pump to complete the water feature set up. Delivery is via trusted courier or by Ioan Raymond himself. Slate Monolith SM79 is made from 100% natural Welsh slate, sourced from a North Wales quarry and hand finished by Ioan Raymond in his Southampton Workshop. Many customers like to use monoliths with a number of our garden accessories, including slate stepping stones, 20mm chippings and LED Lighting (available in the basket when purchasing a monolith).

Installation
All our core drilled Stone Monoliths require additional products to complete the water feature functionality, namely a water reservoir, pump, hose and jubilee clips. Either integrate with an existing set up or ideally use our Large Reservoir Pack. Water is recycled through the reservoir and back to the top with the pump, so a constant water supply is not required. We recommend contracting a professional electrician to provide the outside mains power for the pump.
