Stone Boulder Bird Bath SBB17 is a Medium/Large sized Purbeck boulder, hand picked from a quarry in Dorset. Naturally rounded, with some stunning features and contours. Measuring 1050mm long x 700mm wide x 275mm high. The top has a smooth, rounded edge and a shallow bowl for retaining water and encouraging birds to an outdoor space. Dimensions of the bowl is 300mm diameter. This garden bird bath will suit both a traditional and contemporary garden design because while it retains natural earthy colour tones it also has a modern feel to it. It could also work to bring some contrast as a feature stone in a more traditional setting. Can also be used as a water bowl or vessel in a Japanese Garden Design. Please check the gallery carefully as the photos of Stone Boulder Bird Bath SBB17 show the high level of detailing within this piece. The bird bath was photographed dry, so will darken slightly when wet. The inner bowl has been delicately polished to give a rounded feel and fossils and shells can be seen below the surface. Increase the biodiversity of your own garden instantly with this unique stone bird bath. Pictures are of the exact piece you will receive. Stone Bird Bath SBB17 is very similar in style to Tsukubai Wash Basin TWB01 which has an integrated water spout. We have more large blocks in the yard suitable for stone bird baths. Can also be converted into a fully functioning water feature by core drilling centrally through the boulder from top to bottom. Stone boulders of this size and shape are increasingly difficult to source in the quarry. Contact us with your requirements. There is a limit to the amount of stone this quarry can extract per year as it sits within a National Trust area. See a short video on our youtube channel.
