More Info

Slate Monolith SM265 is a really striking piece, due to it’s varied natural colours and markings. Placing this Large Sized Monolith where it can be viewed from at least 180 degrees would be ideal, as all faces have interest and unique patina. Combine this stone with our Square Reservoir Pack to complete the water functionality, available in the basket. A smaller reservoir could be purchased but due to the height of this monolith you need a larger surface area to catch and recycle the water otherwise the reservoir will require more frequent topping up. A design tip for these larger features is to include a couple of smaller boulders to ease the integration of height into the overall garden design. We have a few feature pieces with similar tones in the yard that we do need to photograph and will be added to the website shortly. Contact us if you have any queries on these. Features of this size and quality and becoming increasingly difficult to find in the quarry.

Installation

All our core drilled Stone Monoliths require additional products to complete the water feature functionality, namely a water reservoir, pump, hose and jubilee clips. Either integrate with an existing set up or ideally use our Large Reservoir Pack. Water is recycled through the reservoir and back to the top with the pump, so a constant water supply is not required. We recommend contracting a professional electrician to provide the outside mains power for the pump.
