Slate Boulder SB29 was chosen by hand at a Welsh quarry for its unique shape and lovely plum colour tones, which has recently been awarded World Heritage Status by UNESCO. This decorative stone has been core drilled to allow for water flow and will need an extra large reservoir pack to cover this enormous chunk of welsh slate to operate as a water feature. Pictures are of the exact rock for sale and there is only one available. Resembling a diamond shape with natural layers exposed on the top, with a couple of ledges and real character and rustic characteristics around the edges. Slate Boulder SB29 is part of our Large Boulders category with many more available for immediate purchase. Please contact us with any questions you may have or if you would like us to discuss the option of adding a bowl to this feature as there is plenty of space for it. Slate Boulder SB22 is an example of where a bowl has been polished at the top.
Installation
All our core drilled Stone Monoliths require additional products to complete the water feature functionality, namely a water reservoir, pump, hose and jubilee clips. Either integrate with an existing set up or ideally use our Large Reservoir Pack. Water is recycled through the reservoir and back to the top with the pump, so a constant water supply is not required. We recommend contracting a professional electrician to provide the outside mains power for the pump.
