New Workshop in Shedfield | Welsh Slate Water Features

New Workshop

We’re pleased to announce we’ve completed the move into our new Workshop space! This new space enables us to welcome customers, by appointment only, to safely view our garden stones and water features in Shedfield, just a short drive from Southampton.

The Barn location is within Dagwells Farm, looking out over vegetable patches, free range chickens and hand reared sheep in the fields. This rural location is wonderfully peaceful and quiet, apart when Ioan is drilling holes in stones for water features! All current stock is held here so customers can book appointments to view their favourite pieces before purchasing. This includes our stone monoliths, slate water features, garden boulders, Japanese garden stones and more.

We’ve recently invested in our tooling and can now offer the following core drill hole sizes;

30mm, 32mm, 40mm, 90mm, 110mm, 135mm, 250mm, 300mm

This enables more efficient drilling of our monolith style water features as the cores are on longer barrels and speeds up the drilling process massively. Mid range sizes allow for a variety of finishes on the tops of stones for water bubbling or bowl effects, whilst the larger cores are used on window stones to ensure the holes are all drilled in proportion. If you require any other sizes we can quickly source these from our suppliers and tool up accordingly to fulfil your requirements on your projects and designs.

New Workshop Photo Space

We now have a great space at the new workshop to take much improved product photos. This lets us place slate monoliths, boulders and window stones into what looks much more like a real garden setting, making things easier for our customers to imagine the pieces in their own garden designs.
