The shape and sloping style of this piece would be ideal as a focal point in a landscaping project or garden design. This would act as the primary stone if placed in a group of three.

Slate Monolith SM229 Standing Stone was hand selected direct from the quarry in North Wales, near Yr Wyddfa. Slate Monoliths of this quality are becoming increasingly difficult to source. Slate Monolith SM229 is an excellent example of a striking piece to be included in a medium or large scale garden design. This imposing tower of real Welsh Slate echoes the countries’ ancient forts such as Dolwyddelan Castle near Betws Y Coed and Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber in Pembrokeshire. This piece has a nice angle to it and would sit well with another two smaller monoliths and or rockery pieces to compliment this stunning slate monolith. Measuring approximately 700mm high makes this a manageable piece without expensive mechanical lifting equipment.
Delivery is via trusted courier or by Ioan Raymond himself. Slate Monolith SM229 standing stone is made from 100% natural Welsh Slate, sourced from a North Wales quarry and hand finished by Ioan Raymond in his Southampton Workshop. Many customers like to use monoliths with a number of our garden accessories, including slate stepping stones, 20mm chippings and LED Lighting (available in the basket when purchasing a monolith).
Due to the size and weight the delivery and logistics will have to be organised and managed carefully. If ordered online one of the team will be in touch to arrange a convenient delivery date.

Installation
All our core drilled Stone Monoliths require additional products to complete the water feature functionality, namely a water reservoir, pump, hose and jubilee clips. Either integrate with an existing set up or ideally use our Large Reservoir Pack. Water is recycled through the reservoir and back to the top with the pump, so a constant water supply is not required. We recommend contracting a professional electrician to provide the outside mains power for the pump.
