Waterfall Ledge WL022 is a stunning piece of slate with beautiful markings. It was split by hand from the centre of a much larger block in a Pembrokeshire quarry, which then revealed the astonishing colour patterns on both faces. Measuring approximately 760mm in length x 500 x 40mm thick. The flat surfaces make this ideal as a spillway stone on a pond or waterfall. The water will glide over the surface effortlessly and will cascade over the edge mirroring a natural waterfall. Please see our recent blog where we took a trip to the Four Waterfalls Walk in South Wales to get some ideas and inspiration from some exciting projects in the pipeline. If you like waterfall ledge WL022 but require a larger piece then consider waterfall ledge WL024. Gallery images show both sides including wet and dry. Alternatively this could be core drilled and converted into a working water feature. Reservoir pack and pump would be required to operate as a stand alone water feature. Previous clients have used similar flat slates for the edging on their pond. You are welcome to visit the workhop to see the slate before purchasing, but please do contact us to make an appointment. Increase the biodiversity of your own landscape instantly by adding the relaxing element of running water.
