We’re looking forward to a full calendar of garden events in 2022, which will be most welcome after the chaos of the last two years. Whether you’re seeking inspiration for a new garden design, searching for the latest gardening trends or simply looking for a great family day out, read on to discover the best UK garden events to add to your diary.
RHS Chelsea
24th to 28th May 2022
After the first ever Autumn event in 2021, the world’s greatest flower show returns to a more expected slot earlier in the year. RHS Chelsea is the one everyone wants to attend, with stunning garden designs, gorgeous floral displays and endless shopping.
A few designers that we’re particularly keen to follow progress on is the build from Smith Williams and you can follow more of the build here. With the use of a variety of stone and materials emphasising on recycling and reusing waste material where possible. This aligns very closely with our key principles.
Great British Garden Festival
1st January to 31st December 2022
Running all year long, the Great British Garden Festival is a celebration of our love of gardening and an opportunity to gain 10% discount from a huge choice of fantastic retailers and manufacturers in the UK.
Blenheim Flower Show
24th to 26th June 2022
Set in the grounds of the beautiful Blenheim Palace this annual show runs over 3 days, featuring a wonderful array of flower shows, expert garden talks, home and garden exhibitors, as well as great food and entertainment.
House & Garden Festival
Dates: TBC
The House & Garden Festival brings some of the best interior designers, independent boutiques and premium antiques dealers together in one amazing event. Keep an eye on their website and social media for 2022 dates.
Gardeners World Live
16th to 19th June 2022
One of the nation’s favourite garden events returns in 2022 with professional show gardens, TV celebrities, great shopping and the Floral Marquee with over 100 nurseries to choose from.
London Open Gardens
11th & 12th June 2022
London Open Gardens gives the public the chance to visit some of the capital’s best private gardens, allotments and green spaces over one special summer weekend.
Glee
28th to 30th June 2022
Glee is a large garden and outdoor living show that focuses on connecting buyers with unique retailers and manufacturers over three days. Glee is a must visit event for those wanting to keep up with the latest gardening trends and fashions.
RHS Hampton Court
4th to 10th July 2022
Hampton Court Garden Festival is the largest of its kind in the world and runs over six days in July. Find inspiration from the Show Gardens designed by top professionals, learn new skills at celebrity workshops and shop till you drop with hundreds of artisan retailers.
Plant Hunters @ Ness Gardens
20th March 2022
Plant Hunters Fairs appear at beautiful locations across the country throughout the year but where better to visit the fair than the stunning Ness Botanical Gardens in Cheshire. Visit their website to view all dates, the fair at Ness will be held in the herb garden and entry is just £1!
National Flower Show
20th to 22nd May 2022
Held in the magnificent Hylands Estate in Essex, the National Flower Show features the very best in home, garden and lifestyle. This show is a great opportunity to not only buy new garden plants but also discover artisan and hand made products for the home.
The Garden Show @ Stansted Park
11th to 13th June 2022
Running annually for over 25 years The Garden Show at Stansted Park is a firm favourite for all the family as a great summer day out. This fantastic show has a wide variety of exhibitors, a house band, international food stalls and much more over the 3 days it runs.
