Slate Monolith SM231 was selected individually from a Welsh quarry and hand finished into a beautiful contemporary garden feature stone. It is coloured predominantly in natural plum tones with flashes of light blues and greys. The flat sawn top shows a light blue/grey when dry and a rich deep grey when wet. The sawn top adds a contemporary twist to normal standing stones, blending rugged organic surfaces with clean sawn techniques, highlighting a connection between the earth and humans. The flat top could be used as a wildlife table to encourage birds to a garden. At 910mm tall this is a large piece that could sit well as a focal point in a medium sized garden or be an element within a larger scale development. Installation
All our core drilled Stone Monoliths require additional products to complete the water feature functionality, namely a water reservoir, pump, hose and jubilee clips. Either integrate with an existing set up or ideally use our Large Reservoir Pack. Water is recycled through the reservoir and back to the top with the pump, so a constant water supply is not required. We recommend contracting a professional electrician to provide the outside mains power for the pump.
