Slate Monolith SM317 Water Feature

Slate Monolith SM317 Water Feature was chosen at a quarry in North Wales and hand finished in our Southampton workshop. At just over 800mm tall, this medium slate monolith is ideal as a feature stone in a large Japanese garden design, or as part of a group of stones in a larger landscaping project. Sawn base provides a flat and safe stable base. Premium quality welsh slate measuring 600mm wide x 450mm makes this quite a heavy piece. Weighs in at 313kg so needs careful planning and could be moved on site unsing mechanical lifting or cranes. Slate of this size, quality and characteristics is becoming increasingly difficult to source in the quarry. We can hold this slate monolith feature in the yard until you’re ready for delivery or until your landscapers arrive on site. This can easily be combined with similar size stones to create a Japanese themed garden or Zen like retreat in your garden. Combine with other slate products such as slate chippings and slate stepping stones to create a simple Japanese style garden.
