Window Stone WS51 Water Feature Case Study
Window Stone WS51 Water Feature Case Study features a stunning triangular form slate monolith with a 250mm core drilled window to frame a view. Plum slate paddlestones were chosen to compliment the larger stone and ease the transition at ground level. Small grasses with similar tones planted in the foreground blend seamlessly with larger green planting providing a structured background. A larger maple to the edge completes this very organic design. A single light positioned on an angle illuminates the slate feature when the sun goes down. This simple addition creates a calming and relaxing environment for the clients to enjoy all year round. Welsh Slate Water Features were proud to be involved in this stunning project and supplied everything the client needed to operate this as a water feature. This included the core drilled window stone, a large reservoir pack, including pump, hose, clips and flow valve regulator. Finsihed off with two handy bags of slate paddlestones varying between 20 and 60mm. If you’re considering a design or working on a similar project and need any help or advice then please do not hesitate to contact the office and we will be happy to help and guide you on choosing the right slate or stone boulder or water feature for your project.
